During my time at Middle Tennessee State University, I was fascinated by different cultures and societies and thought I might become an anthropologist. Over time, that curiosity shifted to a focus on individuals and how each of us responds to life’s challenges in unique ways. Today, I use that same curiosity to help individuals and families better understand themselves and others. My goal is to provide support, skills, and strategies so you can feel more comfortable in your own life and in your relationships. Because no two clients are the same, I use a personalized approach that draws from Person-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Energy Psychology (Cognitive Somatic Processing Therapies).
I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University and am credentialed by the State of Tennessee as a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation. I am also a National Certified Counselor. My experience includes working in inpatient settings with clients facing significant challenges, community mental health programs supporting individuals and families, and schools where I partnered with children, parents, and teachers to help students thrive.
Now, in private practice, I focus on helping people strengthen their mental wellness. I believe everyone deserves the chance to grow, heal, and thrive, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they do just that.
