During my time at Middle Tennessee State University, I was fascinated by different cultures and societies and thought I might become an anthropologist. Over time, that curiosity shifted to a focus on individuals and how each of us responds to life’s challenges in unique ways. Today, I use that same curiosity to help individuals and families better understand themselves and others.
My work focuses on helping you understand the patterns shaping your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, and to develop practical ways of responding that feel more aligned with your life. Because no two clients are the same, I use a personalized, integrative approach that draws from Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), and Energy Psychology methods.
While I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, my approach is not centered on diagnosis, but on helping you understand yourself more clearly and create meaningful, lasting change.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University and am credentialed by the State of Tennessee as a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation. I am also a National Certified Counselor. My experience includes working in inpatient settings with clients facing significant challenges, community mental health programs supporting individuals and families, and schools where I partnered with children, parents, and teachers to help students thrive.
Now, in private practice, I focus on supporting mental wellness in a way that is both reflective and practical. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to grow, heal, and live more comfortably in their lives, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they do just that.
